( she takes luna straight upstairs once they're inside, going to one of the unused bedrooms and laying her down on the bed. there's a little shifting once luna's down to pull the cover back, keeping it simply laid beside her for the moment.

[Fern, unsure of what else to do, follows her upstairs to the bedroom. Now that's they're inside he relaxes, letting his whole knight business fade. He makes sure to stand back a little, wanting to stay out of the way, watching anxiously.]

( she sounds a little surprised by that (and amazed). sure, he was green and... okay maybe there was something leafy about parts of him but she didn't have any opinion or judgement, he was simply a wonderful being she had no idea about )
Well, plants do have water, unless your species is very different.
( she gives him a small smile before stepping away, heading back down the stairs to her kitchen. there's a chair in the room if he wanted to sit down or the bed was big enough to fit him sitting on it.
she gives him longer than a minute, coming back more about ten minutes later with a glass of water and a coffee for herself, offering it out to him )
[He doesn't return the smile, and when she's gone he's going to go sit at the edge of the bed. There isn't much he can do aside from wait, and it irritates him that he's functionally useless right now. It gnaws at him that he can't cut something and make this whole situation better.
When Mrs. Sheringham comes back he's pretty tense, though he accepts the water.]
[Fern frowns at that, but there's nothing either of them can do, sadly.]
She messaged everyone last winter about these creatures from her home, nargles, that like to steal junk from people. They infest mistletoe, and I had some growing on me, so she let me borrow a necklace she had that keeps them away.
Ah-- mostly, though what else there is isn't common knowledge.
( it would be so much easier to deny it all to not have to explain but at the same time there's so much here that wasn't human, he certainly wasn't, explaining it might not be so bad.
